Module Information |
RealSports Basketball was the only title in the Atari RealSports series that was never released. Earlier versions of the game still had a referee at the the side of the court, but it was removed during the development to save memory. The referee graphics are still in the game code. Presumably due to the immature gameplay, the game was never released despite being a step up from Atari's classic basketball. It was not until the fall of 1983 that Atari removed the pre-release title from the schedule. The final version of the PAL game should be released as an NTSC game. The scans are from a reproduction from 2002. |
