Module Information |
'The Entity' is based on a horror movie from 1981 of the same name. The movie involved a young woman who was being raped by a ghost. This could be the reason why 20th Century Fox chose not to release the game. Box, Cart and manual are a reproduction from the Classic Gaming Expo (CGE 2003) in Las Vegas, Nevada (August 9-10, 2003). |

Fox Video Games was a subsidiary enterprise of 20th Century Fox, which joined the video games market in 1982, as the sales figures were at the height then. They started with games licensed by Sirius Software (Turmoil, Fast Eddie, Deadly Duck, Worm War I) but overshot quickly with several games, based on 20th Century Fox (T.V.) movies (f.e. Alien, Fantastic Voyage, M*A*S*H) and some dedicated "non-movie based" Atari 2600 games. As they feared economical failure in Europe, only a few of their games were released there. The company still exists and produced videogames but since 1994 Fox Video Games operates under "Fox Interactive". |
